2026 Food Facility Renewal Readiness Check

Find the next registration or renewal task, then print a short evidence plan. This is a task router, not an FDA eligibility decision. No email or confidential registration information is required.

How the decision works

The check first separates exemption uncertainty, suspension, ownership change, expiry and access recovery. Only then does it route first registration or 2026 renewal. The window runs from October 1 at 12:01 a.m. through December 31 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The owner, operator, agent in charge or authorized submitter remains responsible for the correct FDA submission. FDA charges $0 for food registration and renewal; optional FDABridge professional fees are separate.

Build your task plan

Choose general situations only. This check runs in your browser. It does not ask for or send facility identifiers, passwords, PINs or your answers. Do not put confidential values into a contact form.

1. Is this a facility that must register for food made, processed, packed or held for U.S. consumption?
2. What is the facility's current registration situation?
3. Has legal ownership of an existing facility changed?
4. Can the responsible party access the existing FIS record and PIN?
5. Have required registration details changed since the last submission?
6. Which U.S. Agent situation applies?
7. Is a facility-specific DUNS/UFI available and matched to the facility address?
8. Could qualified-facility attestation apply?

Method, privacy and limits

FDABridge reviewed this task logic on 2026-10-13 against FDA's 2026 notice, renewal and registration guides, registration Q&A and July 2026 security advisory. The check uses eight general choices in your browser; it has no form submission, answer storage or new analytics events. Results are not transmitted to FDABridge. FDA registration numbers and PINs are non-public: keep them secure and never type them into this tool.

The plan does not decide whether an exemption, abbreviated renewal or qualified-facility status applies to your facts. It does not provide legal advice, FDA approval, a processing-time promise or import clearance. If your record or enforcement status is uncertain, verify it in your own FDA account or with FDA before purchasing professional services.
