All FDA food facility registrations must be renewed between October and December 2026. Early preparation prevents last-minute problems.

FDA food facility registration must be renewed every two years during even-numbered years. 2026 is a renewal year, with the window open from October 1 through December 31, 2026. Every registered facility must complete renewal or lose its registration.

Who Must Renew?

All food facilities currently registered with the FDA must renew, including manufacturers, processors, packers, and storage facilities. There are no exceptions for size or product type.

What to Review Before Renewal

Check your facility information including address, contact person, US Agent details, and product categories. Update any changes before the renewal window opens.

Why Prepare Early

Last-minute renewals risk technical issues with the FURLS system or DUNS verification problems. If renewal is not completed by December 31, your registration expires and shipments will be blocked.
