Types of Import Alerts

The Red List
When a company is placed on an Import Alert Red List, all its shipments are automatically detained. Getting removed from the Red List is a complex and time-consuming process.
The 24-Hour Response Window
When your shipment is detained, FDA typically demands an initial response within 24 hours. If no response is received, the shipment may be refused or destroyed.
Getting Off the Red List
Removal requires proving the violation has been corrected. This may involve documentation, laboratory test reports, and evidence of corrective actions.
