How It Works
Provide product information
Share the product name, cosmetic category, full ingredient list (INCI names), and the responsible person for each product. One listing per product SKU.
We file the product listing
We submit the listing through FDA Cosmetics Direct under MoCRA. Each product receives a unique FDA listing record.
Listing confirmed
Your product appears in FDA's cosmetics product listing system. Listing must be updated within 90 days of any formulation change.
Common questions
Is product listing required under MoCRA?+
Yes. Under MoCRA, cosmetic manufacturers must list each product they offer for US sale, in addition to registering their facility. Product listing is a separate filing from facility registration.
What information is needed per product?+
Each product listing requires the product name, cosmetic category (e.g. skin care, hair care), complete ingredient list using INCI names, and the responsible person information. We help you prepare this for each SKU.
How many products can I list?+
You can list as many products as you need. Each product is $75. If you need 5 or more, the Cosmetic Product Listing + Label Review Bundle ($149/product) or the Cosmetics Brand Launch Bundle may offer better value.
What if I update a product formula?+
Any significant change to a product's formulation must be reported to FDA within 90 days. We can handle these updates. If the change is minor, we review whether a new listing is required.
